This movie and book club is for the fiction book reader and the movie buff. Lets get together over a meal or some drinks and discuss the movie of the month and the book of the month. MEET ME AT THE MOVIES is a monthly screening of a classic Hollywood film, sponsored by the Prairie District Neighborhood Alliance, a non-profit community organization based in the South Loop area of Chicago. The Book (Was Better) Club is for cinephiles and bookworms alike. Each month, members will select a book for which a film adaptation was (or will be) made. To keep discussions productive, caps will be placed on how many may attend a given meeting, but meet-ups will be held at least twice a month. So if you don't R.S.V.P. in time for one, just join another! Events will range from discussions (over coffee, tea, wine, or my personal favorite: FOOD) to in-home movie viewings and trips to the cinema.

This is a group of people that get together each Tuesday night to get to know each other. We always eat dinner together. Every other week we play triva at a local bar or have a game night.
